Irish harpist, Seána Davey comes from a family of musicians in Co. Meath. Seána studied the harp and piano at the Royal Irish Academy of Music and she holds an Associate Diploma in teaching the harp. Seána also holds a B.A (hons) in Music and Irish from National University of Ireland, Maynooth, where she majored in performance and graduated top of her class. Seána went on to obtain a Master's of Science (M.Sc) in Music Technology from the University of Limerick, Since finishing University, Seána has toured internationally with various productions as an Irish dancer, harpist and pianist.

Seána has also competed in international music competitions and has won the All Ireland Fleadh Cheoil (All Ireland Music Contest) five times, the Oireachtasna Gaeilge festival of Irish culture three times, and the Pan Celtic International harp competition. She is also a champion Irish dancer.

Seána produced her debut harp album in 2010 and is currently in the process of composing for pieces for her upcoming album in which she is fusing concert harp and Irish harp with many genres, including South American, Indian and electroacoustic music. Seána first went into studio with Celtic Thunder in 2010 and has been touring with the show since 2011 as their harpist and dancer.
