Seamus hails from Co. Sligo in Ireland and has been involved in Music since the age of eight. He studied Piano under the tuition of Fr. Frank Mc Namara in St. Finian’s College; Mullingar continued his music education in UCD and Trinity College Dublin.  Having spent a number of years as a Lecturer and Post Primary School teacher, Seamus decided to pursue a full time career in Music. Over the years, Seamus has worked extensively within the Irish and international music business as both a musician and a producer with many talented and respected Irish artists and musicians including Dermot Morgan, Johnny McEvoy, Tommy Fleming, Ronny Drew, Frances Black, Mary Black, Máire Breatnach, Dustin, Podge and Rodge and Donal Lunny to name but a few.

Seamus has also continued his work in education matters, working with Gearoid Grant on Projects including Music in the Classroom, Breaking the Cycle and Doors. Seamus has toured extensively throughout Europe and Australia and USA with Irish dance and music show, RAGÚS and was involved in co-writing the music for a children’s cartoon series called Zombie Hotel, whichwas broadcast throughout Europe. He has also worked on two major projects with the RTE Concert Orchestra and acquired a Graduate Degree from Dublin City University (DCU). Seamus owns and manages a recording studio called Silverstream Studios based in Co. Louth. It caters for many diverse projects and artists and it has been operatingfor over two decades. In 2011 Seamus began working with Celtic Thunder and has been collaborating with the show’s Musical Director David Munro and touring with the Celtic Thunder ever since.
